McLaren’s Lando Norris beat Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to pole position for the Singapore Grand Prix in Saturday’s dramatic qualifying session that was red-flagged when Carlos Sainz crashed. Norris’s lap of 1:30.002 was 0.155s quicker than Verstappen, while Lewis Hamilton was third ahead of Mercedes teammate George Russell.
