Loud screaming could be heard two blocks away from the imponent Kursaal building in San Sebastián on Saturday night as Cate Blanchett arrived at the city’s prestigious international film festival to receive the event’s highest honorary prize,

Blanchett arrived in San Seb after a fall festival run for Disclaimer, her second buzzy project this year. The 7-part limited series was written and directed by five-time Oscar winner Cuarón. The series debuted at the Venice Film Festival and is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Renée Knight.

"F***ing George!" Blanchett said as she wiped away her mascara while picking up the Spanish festival's prestigious Donostia Award Saturday night.
