A Georgia woman whose teenage son allegedly killed four people at Apalachee High School has been accused of taping her elderly mother to a chair, stealing her phone and damaging her home, according to a report.

She is charged with exploitation and intimidation of a disabled adult or elderly person, false imprisonment, criminal damage to property in the second degree, and theft.

Marcee Gray told relatives she had notified a school counselor about 30 minutes before her 14-year-old son allegedly opened fire.

The mistreatment took place on November 3, after Marcee insisted that Polhamus join her in confronting her ex, Colin Gray, during a heated altercation, according to authorities.

The incident in which an elderly woman was taped to a chair is apparently unrelated to the fatal school shooting a teen and his father from the same family are charged in.
