The BJP has launched a fierce attack on Rahul Gandhi after an anti-Modi poster surfaced ahead of Prime Minister Modi's U.S. visit, accusing Gandhi of collaborating with anti-India forces.

BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi and IT cell head Amit Malviya criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over an anti-Modi protest poster in New York. Accusations include Gandhi's alleged collaboration with anti-India forces and undermining India's image abroad.

BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya shared the alleged anti-Modi poster on his X handle which said the Prime Minister was not welcome in New York. Modi is on a three-day US visit from Saturday.

Prime Minister Narendra embarked on a three-day visit to the US to attend a summit of the grouping and address a key conclave at the United Nations.

The BJP has linked recent posters in the US targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's visit. BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi condemned the posters and alleged that they stem from anti-India forces.

Addressing a public gathering during the ‘PM Vishwakarma’ programme in Wardha, Maharashtra, Modi said that this was not the same old Congress. "The spirit of patriotism has died in today's Congress. The ghost of hatred has entered today's Congress," he said.

BJP's "poisonous mindset", Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Saturday said his party would launch an agitation against threats to Rahul Gandhi.

BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya shared the protest poster on X. It read "Protest: Modi you are not welcome in New York" and bore the details of a protest march planned in New York on Sunday by an organization which called itself "Coalition for Reclaiming Democracy in India."

Having clarified his remarks on reservation, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday broke his silence on the other statement - on religious freedom - he had made during his recent US visit that made him the target of attacks from BJP leaders.

While speaking on Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's statements on Sikhs, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that all the Sikh organisations across the country and several Sikh committees met with Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai over the statement of Rahul Gandhi in the US.
